A panel for the lower week
A skirting of weekly records
The lowest strip of the lining is a sheet: payments, costs and set-aside, updated on a fixed day.
Skirting is easy to skip and expensive to add later. Records are the same.
| Column | Why |
|---|---|
| Date and client | Shows which panel is taking the knocks |
| Payment | Total side income |
| Costs | Some may be deductible under local rules |
| Set-aside | Keeps tax from becoming a surprise |
Ten minutes a week is usually enough. At year end you hand one file to an accountant.
